South Fork of the American River (Kyburz)

Kyburz is a class 4/4+ and the flow was 1,000 cfs when we ran it. The putin is three miles below the town of Kyburz, just below a class 5+ rapid. The entire run is about eight miles long. The takeout is at the Highway 50 bridge.

North Fork Mokelumne River (Tiger Creek)
Tiger creek is class 3/4. The flow was 1,100 cfs, the putin is at Tiger Creek Dam. It is three miles long.The takeout is at the highway 26 bridge, outside of the town of PineGrove.

The stairs are a good gauge to check the water level; 1 1/2 steps is about 1,100 cfs, 2 1/2 steps is about 1,500 cfs.

North Fork American (Giant Gap)
The flow was very low at 650 cfs or 1.50 on the bridge gauge. 14.5 miles long,Class 4/4+

Middle Fork Yuba (below Our House Dam) Class 4, the put in is at Our House Dam and the takeout is at the Highway 49 Bridge. We ran this section of the river at 650 cfs, I would recommend running this run at 800 cfs.

This is Cable Rapid, there really is a cable in the middle of the rapid so we had to portage it.
